On my very first guess!  BRDL 50 ????

Just heard about this. It’s a bird version of Wordle, something I’ve never played, but I just tried it and it’s fun! This version uses Banding codes for US birds, with a new puzzle everyday! http

@PaulK's spoiler made me realize that while I solved the puzzle this morning, I did so by using the wrong bird to create the banding code. I used the main index in iBird to come up with banding code options and I found one that fit perfectly. Slight problem though, >Green-breasted Mango< , the bird I used, has a different code than I thought it did.

This was very much one where I derived the code and then looked it up.

Worth noting that quoting a comment with the white writing makes it visible, as above (I redacted the actual words for that reason).
