On my very first guess!  BRDL 50 ????

Just heard about this. It’s a bird version of Wordle, something I’ve never played, but I just tried it and it’s fun! This version uses Banding codes for US birds, with a new puzzle everyday! http

That was close!  Had so few letters left and only one guess that I started trying to brute force the answer - still took me over 20 trys and I had almost completely run out of available combinations.

I even tried BRDL since it was one of the few possible combinations left and I was wondering if some joker decided to put that one in?

I think the programmer is here sometimes. Can you please take a look as it appears to be rejecting the only legal answer (per the ABA list) as an invalid code!

ETA: as of this post I have confirmed there is no answer to the puzzle
