I got yesterdays Wordle in three because my second guess contained all the same letters in wrong places ?

I always start BRDL with SORA, and usually go to LIGU if none of the SORA letters are useful. I usually end up researching after the second line. Every once in a while though I figure out the answer on my own.

I use both TEARY and PIOUS because they have all the vowels and some common consonants; I saw that on a now-deleted Twitter thread. RAISE looks like a good single word to start.

COUNT is my backup word, depending on how RAISE does. Between those two it's all the vowels, and RSTCN. Leaves out L, but oh well. Got the idea from Wheel of Fortune's final round. ?

I find MOUND is usually a good second guess where relevant. If I'm being scientific (usually only when playing quordle) I'll usually start with IRATE and then follow this way.
