Also, do folks around here tend to look at lists or field guides? I try to avoid them unless I'm on the last guess and have no idea what fits the pattern.

I don’t know many codes right off my head, so I usually end up using a list.

So I learn something new - I hadn't noticed that pair before but had wondered how it worked when the default formula covered multiple species
