On my very first guess!  BRDL 50 ????

Just heard about this. It’s a bird version of Wordle, something I’ve never played, but I just tried it and it’s fun! This version uses Banding codes for US birds, with a new puzzle everyday! http

After getting the family down in the first guess and intentionally eliminating a whole bunch of other letters on 3 and 4 I started searching the list because there weren't many options left.

After my two regular opening codes, I started going through the list looking for the one letter in the proper position. Once I located the correct family, it was pretty easy using the other valid letter to figure out the answer.
