On my very first guess!  BRDL 50 ????

Just heard about this. It’s a bird version of Wordle, something I’ve never played, but I just tried it and it’s fun! This version uses Banding codes for US birds, with a new puzzle everyday! http

No list but I had to brute force the last guess with final few letters I had to work with and then had to look up what it was once I got it.  

... and then when I found the bird's name I had to look that up to know if it was an inch or a yard long and lived in the desert or at sea. ?

I had a few more guesses of my own I was going to try but decided to check the list for other possibilities first. Checking the list just gave me too many possibilities so I picked one I wasn't familiar with and got lucky.
