Bob T Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 I'm having a difficult time telling whether this is Bushtit, Vireo, or Gnatcatcher, but the lack of an eye-ring and the larger beak seems to be more like a Bushtit's. Aidan B Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 (edited) The fact that it's coming to a suet feeder means it's definitely a bushtit. The other two species never visit suet. Also note the difference in body shape, Vireos have short tails, and gnatcatchers have the two features you mentioned above.
