The only misidentified bird that I found was the photo listed under Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, that bird is actually a Fork-tailed Flycatcher.

A lady who was not part of our group said she saw 22 in one tree. ? Our guide was not convinced. ? We saw our 5 over 2 days in 3 different locations, and some were mated pairs. And iguanas. And caimans & crocs. And bats. And, other than the airfare, it's not terribly expensive.
floraphile
What I really wanted to see was a Common (or any other) Potoo. Or maybe a Harpy Eagle. Ha. The nemesis bird of both of our guides.

On of the first days I actually went out of the neighborhood to bird was to a big wetland. I saw 96 species, and 76 were lifers. Now that I’m almost two years in to birding(around a year and half seriously birding), my list is at 265, and it’s becoming way harder to get lifers. I wish that could still be the case. I must head to the tropics one day.
