Totah Sam
My sister-in-law sent me this pic. I'm not good with gulls. I'm a born and raised desert rat from NM. I don't know from gulls. Can someone please identify this for me. The white tail is throwing me off cuz I'm stupid. 😛

Charlie Spencer
@Totah Sam, do you know when this photo was taken? I agree it's likely a Laughing Gull. There are a couple of other black-headed species in that area, and the amount of black on their heads varies widely depending on breeding season. Thanks! The closer you get to the equator, the less...um...something or other, regardless of whether you've had covid or not. Does that make sense? 1

Sorry, I was just trying to stick with the theme🤣. That may be my first confused emoji. But well deserved, no doubt. I didn't have brain fog with covid, but I had serious brain fog with lyme disease some years ago. I was barely safe driving. Traffic lights we're tough. I had to tell myself out loud what the different colors meant. And finding my way around was a challenge. I would recognize certain places but still had trouble finding where I was trying to go, and finding my way back home.
