MarkG
I saw this sparrow this morning (Chapel Hill, NC) rooting around with a few White-throated Sparrows. It's obviously not a White-throated. I wasn't sure what it was, but I chased it (nicely) for about 10 minutes and it finally was nice enough to come out into the open. I got some decent photos of it and it appears to be a text book Lincoln's Sparrow. It would be unusual to see a Lincoln's Sparrow around here this early in the spring, so I thought I'd ask for a 2nd opinion before I list it on eBird. Thanks!
