2) Northern Shoveler?  And I'm curious about the small bird on the left, looks like a small bird of prey.  I don't think any of the others can be identified.

Would the bird in front of the stilt be an American Coot? (not sure of their range out west).

Coots are found out west, but I'm not sure how we're telling from another blob. Could be another shoveler.

They live there.

This. They live throughout the west, but it’s not identifiable in your photo.
