Black bird ID ?

Saw a black bird at the feeder this morning (Cedar Hill, TX) with a yellow or light stripe on it's lower body.  Is this just a red-winged black bird variant ?

Looks like a slightly odd red winged blackbird.

Red-winged Blackbirds have yellow edging on the red patchs of their wings, @Gman68, sometimes showing only the yellow while the red is hidden under other feathers. They can show or hide the wing patch as desired so the colors aren't always as bold or noticable as they can be.
