Bama
Taken yesterday in Alabama. Please excuse poor photo quality as these were taken in poor light and shade. Both look familiar, but can't figure it out. Thanks!

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure I could conclusively rule out Blue Grosbeak with my lack of significant experience.
Bama
Thanks! The first bird looks smaller than a catbird, but otherwise does indeed look like one. The very pale chest looks white in the pics, but they are not good photos, so..... I was thinking the second bird might be a summer tanager? We have had blue grosbeaks come through here but I have not seen an indigo bunting yet. We normally get them here, so it's a good possibility. ? aveschapinas
The second bird gave me a tanager vibe, but since it has cleverly hidden its beak behind the leaves it's a bit harder to tell. I agree the first one looks like a Gray Catbird (dipped in bleach?)
Avery
I think the second bird would show the dark wings even from this angle if it was a Scarlet (has to be with the gray undertail) I like indigo bunting/blue grosbeak for the second. The color is spot on. Unfortunately we can’t see if it has wing bars or the size of the bill. Any other shots?
