They’re not common anywhere. It’s a random thing where they show up. Wouldn’t be out of the question, unless it really looks wrong for one.

Overall GISS is screaming finch or something similar to me. Feels wrong for a warbler IMO.

Parts of the southwest.  I've been living in northern New Mexico since 1990 and I've seen one yellow House Finch.
