dragon49
Can't think of anything else they can be. In this neck of the woods, I haven't seen them flocked up like this. Caley Thomas 2.0
Looks to be that way. Keep in mind, there's a tremendous amount of plumage variability within this species. 3

dragon49
No disrespect to the birding community, but as Rock Pigeons are so common to my former home New York City and so abundant there, they don't interest me at all.

If you go down to the Keys or the Bahamas where there are White-crowned Pigeons, or out west where there are Band-tailed Pigeons, or to other places where there are other similar species, familiarity with Rock Pigeon variations might help you be confident that you're seeing those other species. 7

If you're reporting your sightings on eBird, please include the boring species too, or click the box for 'I'm not reporting everything I saw'. It's like reporting House Sparrows in a Wal-mart parking lot: they may be boring but the quantity and location data is important to researchers. Pigeon
As Rodney Dangerfield so eloquently stated...NO RESPECT...for the majestic Rock Pigeon.
