Tanager 101 Posted May 13 Share Posted May 13 Seen today and yesterday in Saginaw, Michigan. Some may be the same birds? The thrushes were very common (20+) Hoping at least one is Gray-cheeked. All please tell me the best way to tell the difference between the two species in the field. Also teh last on is a Veery correct. just want confirmation. I think all Swainson's and one Veery but am hoping to be wrong. the Veery has its heaad turned away but the breast looks spot-clean for the most part.
