If you can make out colors, you're ahead of me.  All I see are black silhouettes.

And you have seen how many Painted Buntings? I agree, I think they are most likely Indigo, but I would not make a definite id, from these photos.

Thanks, painted buntings (I've seen many down south/out west) would be very rare. There were both Indigo Buntings & House Finches, along with about 50 other species at this one spot. Just thought I'd try for an ID ?
