We expect a link to the check list!

We didn't see anything out of the ordinary in North East, Maryland, at the top of the Chesapeake Bay, not too far from the county dump. Just Ring-billed (c. 800), Herring (100 maybe), and Great Black-backed Gulls (10). Each age class for the first two, and first-cycle and adult of the third species. The close male Ruby-crowned Kinglet may be the best species. I counted 19 Bald Eagles, and there were probably more.

The wind chill temperatures were as low as +7 degrees F, with the air temperature finally hitting 21F a little before noon. Lunch was at a nice seafood restaurant that had some good songs on their sound system.

I tried two different families and was never in the ball park.

@Charlie Spencer why the confused reaction? Surely you don’t expect a west coaster like me to excel in eastern warbler ID 😂

I meant I was concurring with the confusion over what the species #260 was.  Did we ever decide?

Looked like a Palm Warbler to me.

I may go look for this species after I look for two other species ... but only if I actually leave the house and look for the other species.  🚗 🔭

eta: The current temperature some 75 minutes after sunrise, 32F, is about what the high was yesterday. At this time yesterday it was about 15F. Any wind chill temperature won't be too bad today.

Completely irrelevant to anything else, but I notice people are up and posting here several hours before there's activity on the NASCAR forum I'm on.  Just a casual observation; nothing judgmental.  :classic_biggrin:

Maybe simply the fact that birds are more interesting :classic_cool:
