Is this hummer ID-able?

I believe that is just chromatic aberration with the camera. If you look closely the edges of the wings are like that too.

“Near Denver” is a fairly ambiguous description. Could you be a little more specific about the location and or habitat? The front range is unique in that 5 miles to the west you could be in coniferous montane foothills habitat, and 5 miles to the east you could easily be in open plains and/or a riparian habitat.

Really? I get the opposite feel. Structurally, it seems more like a Broad-tailed Hummingbird to me, but I’m not sure it’s identifiable.

Cherry Creek State Park, Arapahoe County. Sitting in the top of a tree near a small road. 
It stayed there for a long time, so I never heard anything. I was hoping for that so I could confirm Broad-tailed.
