Utah hawk and hummingbird

As for the hummer, I am embarrassed to say that I’m wrong. Didn’t realize you provided an exact town in the state. Costas is fairly rare in that area of the state. In that case, I’d probably call it a female Broad tailed hummingbird. It’s fairly bulky appearance, the overall clean throat, and the fact that it’s one of the most likely species in your area. Sorry about that!
