Female Purple Martin vs. Northern Rough-winged

Recommended Posts

It’s a juvenile Martin. Structurally, it’s too big to be a NRWS. The head projects well past the body, the bird is long, wings are more pointed, and the tail is slightly forked with long, thin white untacs.
