belliott
I always have trouble with flycatchers. I found these today in Southwest Missouri at the edge of a prairie forest. belliott
It looks like I'm not the only one who has trouble with flycatcher ID. I've had a lot of views, but only one reply--which I don't understand. What does "Bump" mean?
Hasan
If possible, I'd recommend attaching the images next time. 1-2 Correct 3. Hard to say, it's a tough angle but I suspect another Acadian 4. Acadian

"Bump" is just one of many ways to bring attention to a post that may have slipped past the few members that are more competent with certain species than the rest of us. The Bump, or any comment, will put an old post to the top of the list again. Many of the views you noticed are from members llike me who are looking to learn from someone else's photos, but might not have learned enough to offer any assistance. It's also possible that some members see an unfamiliar link and are hesitant to click on it. Your post might be getting lots of views but some of us might not actually see the photo because we're cautious of what we download, or at least try to be. If you can upload your photos directly to Whatbird, you'll probably get more feedback. Edited July 24, 2022 by lonestranger 3
