Zoroark
I got an e-mail from a reviewer that my noddy observation in this post is actually a Black Noddy: https://ebird.org/checklist/S83707149 That's the only photo that I personally was able to get, but my father got a few more, and I'm wondering if all of these are indeed Black Noddies or if any Brown Noddies (or something else) are mixed in. Quiscalus quiscula
Maybe you should post this in the Help Me Identify a Bird Outside North America section?

True. Hawaii isn't ecologically part of North America. @Kevin Would you mind moving it there instead? neilpa
Pretty sure all the terns are Black Noddy, brown are much less common outside of a few isolated spots. The second photo has a couple of Great Frigatebirds flying in the background.
Zoroark
@neilpa Thanks for the help. I also sent the photos to the reviewer, and they also said they were Black Noddies. And I totally spaced on the frigatebirds. Those are a lifer for me. ?
