pictaker
Taken today in south jersey, that eye ring is screwing me up and before I spend two hours pouring over internet pages I figure one of you would nail it off the bat for me..

IKLland
Really dull Yellow Warbler? I can’t think of anything else.
Birds are cool
Palm Warbler, Orange Crowned Warbler, Nashville Warbler or Yellow Warbler. Yellow Warbler seems most likely. pictaker
Palm and Orange are ruled out with the eye ring, I was thinking maybe Nashville but havnt found any pics on the interwebs that even look close to this bird, I am leaning toward the yellow right now but man, this one is tough... 3 minutes ago, Birds are cool said: Palm Warbler, Orange Crowned Warbler, Nashville Warbler. These are my three suggestions. I have no idea what the bird is, but it could possibly one of these three.
Quiscalus quiscula
This is one weird bird, but the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that it's a drab Yellow Warbler. Structurally it seems to fit quite well, as does the eye ring. IKLland
Looking at it closer, I’m almost positive, Yellow Warbler.

Yeah, looks similar to drab brownish female birds found more in the northwest, according to my field guide.

MWM
Far from expert (or even very good at Fall Warblers) but what about Yellow-rumped?

It has already been identified as Yellow, which is correct Nice job @IKLland, that is EXTREMELY dull for a Yellow Warbler and would probably make me do a double or triple take, but definitely Yellow 3
