Domestic Geese

Hi,

 

How should I report these two domestics on eBird? One is Greylag, right? Is the white one a Domestic Swan Goose?

I would report the last one as Graylag*Swan Goose(domestic) (hybrid). It will show up rare, but not count as a bird sp. I saw a bird like this in May, and my reviewer told me to reported as such.

What do you see in this bird that makes you think it has Swan Goose genes?

I guess I am wrong. Probably just a domestic Graylag.

I missed the difference in the beak

That, and the dark stripe down the back of the neck. Cool bird!

It's hard to tell if the bird has a line down the neck. Wild graylags have lines down the back of their neck.

Not that I know of...I mean down the very back of the neck, which only Swan Geese have.
