dragon49
Birders near me thought it was some kind of a flycatcher. Merlin's and iBird Photo sleuth are both giving Northern Rough-winged Swallow, but for a lifer, and from such a bad photo, I would like a human confirm. Taken this afternoon in Boynton beach, Florida:
The Bird Nuts
It's a flycatcher. Posture is wrong for a swallow. 5

The colors on the bad pic are accurate - white underbelly and the rest of the body dull gray.

I'm thinking Eastern Wood-Pewee based on the gray back, short legs, indistinct wingbars, and seemingly long primary projection. The lack of gray on the flanks has me second guessing though, so wait for other opinions. 6

Quiscalus quiscula
Looks good for Eastern Wood-Pewee. 4
Charlie Spencer
Would there be Northern Roughies left in Florida, or should they have migrated out by mid-September?

They would be more unusual, according to Palm Beach county bar charts 0.9 percent.

Not sure, but it’s definitely not a swallow. I agree with Pewee.
