Quiscalus quiscula
Ignore the other sounds, but I want to know whether a catbird or mockingbird is singing in here. Best guess is Gray Catbird. Location is Schenectady County NY. Avery
Just now, Quiscalus quiscula said: Thanks, I seldom hear them here. Any tips on how to distinguish them? Catbirds sound more mechanical to me. Also the patterning is a little different, as mockers kinda just do whatever, while catbirds and thrasher stick to their patterns 2
