which hummer?

If you're in Montana, you only have two hummingbird options, Ruby-throated and Black-chinned, which are annoyingly similar. But they don't have a range overlap in the state, so in the western part it's mostly Black-chinned, and eastern part mostly Ruby-throated.

Broad-tailed and Rufous Hummingbirds are also very common in Western Montana. Calliope are also present in some numbers.
