SirVive
At 3 different locations in the county this week I've heard a 3 note decending clear whistle repeated multiple times but I haven't managed to get a recording of it except this one video where the highway drowns out the last note or spot the songster. It sounds exactly like the first 3 notes of a white-throated sparrow song but never continues beyond that. It's a regular but not very common visitor to my county I've only ever seen one here and ebird lists less than 800 sightings for all time. Are there any other sound alike imposters I should be wary of? 20221014_082618_001.mp4
Avery
Trains? Doesn’t sound like a bird to me, though that could be the quality

SirVive
It's there but definitely hard to pick out in the video - I was only about 100 yds off the interstate. Its definitely a bird and I narrowed it down to about a 20' section of thick brush but couldn't spot it.
Colton V
I hear it. It’s a Golden-crowned Sparrow by how the notes slur together.

They’re uncommon but certainly around. I had two the other day down here in Portland.
