Barn Swallows? Seneca Falls NY 10/15/22.

The first photo shows 2 barn swallows, and the second photo also shows 2 barn sqallows but the swallow in the bottom right of the third photo is a bank swallow.

The bottom right bird in the second photo is a Northern Rough-winged Swallow.

The breast band can vary considerably. It’s there. That’s not a twig, it goes down the middle of the breast. The rest of the breast is clean white and there is a noticeable delineation from the cold brown in the face to the white below it. It’s just too cold and clean on the face/head/breast for NRWS in my opinion.

Agreed. The throat has a sharp contrast to the rest of the head
