QuailFanatic Posted October 23, 2022 Share Posted October 23, 2022 Saw these today in a shallow riparian pond in Phoenix, Arizona. They stayed together as a pair, same size as Mallards. (Personally I wouldn't call any duck in the U.S. pure Mexican unless I got a good view of all the field marks. For this one, we can't see the speculum.
