The bird was calling from either the reeds around the pond or maybe the trees or brush. Thanks!

Thanks all. Unfortunately I don’t have a long recording, this is the longest I have. I’m pretty sure it was coming from near the water. Now that I think about it, I think it only called 10 times over a 5 minute period, each about 10-25 seconds apart. Hopefully this helps at least a little. The bird calls twice in this recording, though the first one is hard to hear.

Ya, I'd agree with something mammilan, but no way to be certain. 

 

Just in case anyone was curious, I was wondering at first if the recording could be a Townsend's Solitare. I know they're pretty rare in Orange, but I've seen a few reports come in recently. However, the notes are too far apart and the sonogram curves downwards instead of staying flat as in this recording.
