2022 Photo Contest

I have shared my thoughts on a 2022 photo contest in the October Photo Competition thread and now it's time to share yours. I'd like see a fun and silly side to the contest so that we can all participate while still seeing who took the best shot of the year. The difficult question is, if we all want to participate, who's going to run the contest and who's going to judge it? If someone volunteers to run it, some possible categories could include...

Best Photo of the year.

Best pair of birds.

Best in flight photo.

Oddest bird deformity.

Most birds on a single bird feeder.

Most unusual pose.

Funniest photo of the year.

Best blurry but still identifiable and interesting photo.

Worst background in a photo.

Etc., etc.

I’d be interested in judging it, but I really don’t have the time to be the manager. If judging is going to be very time-consuming as well, then I probably can’t be the judge.
