The large bill and hint of a steep forehead? Just out of interest for me (still looking for my first Barrow's) and Avery.

I would argue the forehead isn’t steep and Barrow’s have/appear to have smaller bills than Commons due to their head shape.

The bill is too long for Barrows. Also the orange color on a Barrows bill is usually much brighter (although they can also have a dark bill if young of the year).

Common can orange bill color as well, but it’s often sort of dusky:
