chipperatl
I'm going to be very "desperate" to nab some rare gulls, so looking close at everything as I try to hit 220 for the year. These have to be Herring Gulls, but just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything. Both seemed rather small compared to the Ring-billed Gulls. More Lesser Black-backed sized than the Herring Gulls I'm used to seeing mixed in. No other angles for this bird. Only way I kept being able to pick this one out was the bright pink legs. I thought maybe a thayerii, but I think the primaries are too dark and confirmed once it gave me some wing shots.
