What Dowitcher?

There is quite a well documented history on this forum cautioning the identification silent winter dowitchers. I don’t see anything here that shows a definitive LBDO.

I actually measured the bill/head length ratio and the loral angle.  Both are squarely in the middle range where it could be either species.

Interesting. Based on some of the criteria outlined here, this bird points more toward SBDO, IMO.
