Peromyscus
I saw two year birds this morning: Cliff Swallow at a breeding site, and a Broad-winged Hawk. This brings me up to 127 species, continuing a little ahead of last year's pace.

Forgot to mention there were a male and female Ruddy Duck dead in the grass near one of your water treatment plants. No idea what happened to them. I didn't have anything I could try to collect them with.

There is tons of various habitats not far from each other, and they all tend to have their own birds. It also helps that there is so many birders, that means a LOT of rarities get found.

Oh dummy of a week ago….my 125 is now 5th best out of 10 years. Just shows how amazing the last 2 years were for me. The past 2 years I was at 139 at this point. My county overall this year is at 141. I did get Sora today, as well as a singing Baltimore Oriole in my yard. Best part is my puppy is really getting to be a nearly perfect birding companion. He only whined once while I was stopped trying to sus out some stuff.
