I will probably get about 25 more species on friday when my father and I go to look for ducks though. Yeah, here there are much fewer species in winter. Further south you should get a lot more wintering species though.

Kevin
I haven't done any birding, except for like 4 minutes watching my feeders, so my year list is only at 31.

BirdNrd
Finished yesterday with 110. Most likely not going to get anymore until Friday because of big rainstorms here.

Aaron
I’m at 11, with some mild effort put in only locally, mostly looking for the two owl species that are somewhere in my community (no luck yet). To get above 20, I’ll need to travel quite a bit to the river and/or the woods. Though, I’m still missing Canada goose and flicker which I should have seen by now. There’s a slight chance I’ll be in BC this week, for the first time ever in the Winter, so if that happens I should be able to jump up quite a bit, though I don’t expect to be anywhere near 100 until the spring.
Quiscalus quiscula
European Starlings brings me to 29, but I won't be able to do any proper birding today except for a few incomplete checklists, because of the weather and today has been quite a busy day for me.

Quiscalus quiscula
Well, I'm actually No. 1 in my county for species for year! It's going to be harder to keep up as more migratory species start coming in the spring, though.
