neilpa
Does anyone know when eBird is going to finish the exotics update? Specifically having domestics, exotics, etc. no longer show up in life lists by default. I did a bit of digging but couldn't find any info or updates.

They said they were supposed to finish during the winter, so I would think sometime soon, but who knows? 1
Charlie Spencer
I was wondering that myself last week. I also could not find any information on their site. You might try e-mailing them.
Birds are cool
If you do email them, do not expect an answer quickly. I have asked them questions before, and they either take half a month to answer, or don't answer.

chipperatl
I noticed for our county Whooping Crane is listed with everything else, while a nearby county has it listed under Provisional. Of course now I can't find it. Found it - https://ebird.org/region/US-MI-149?yr=all&m=&rank=lrec Edited Wednesday at 12:29 AM by chipperatl

But the one from this weekend (at the same spot) is listed as natural. Still some kinks to work out apparently.

Zoroark
My life count has fallen to 408. The three removed were African Collared-Dove, Graylag Goose, and Swan Goose. Interestingly, one of my sightings of Indian Peafowl is marked as provisional, so that one counts, and I had seen naturalized Muscovy Ducks in Florida. I had seven removed from my county list: Mute Swan, African Collared-Dove, Graylag Goose, Red Junglefowl, Muscovy Duck, Swan Goose, and Indian Peafowl. Still a nice Life List

Aaron
Mine has remained exactly the same. Somehow have gone this long without reporting any escapees, provisionals, or hybrids. 32 spuhs though

Charlie Spencer
25 spuhs and slashes. Here on the coastal plain, when a crow flies over and doesn't make a noise, there's no way to be more specific.
