Kittipaws
Feb 21, S.WI, I don't know if the pairs in the first two pics are all the same birds, but they were part of a group of 13 Trumpeters and Tundras. In the first pic it looks like the front bird has a U at the bill base while the back bird has a V, maybe. In the second pic the right hand bird clearly looks like a Trumpeter, but the profile of the left bird looks more Tundra. The body of the Trumpeter is turned so it's hard to compare sizes. Also, the last pic of the swan flying I believe is a Trumpeter? Both of these species have been seen around here recently so they're not rare, and I heard both so I know it was a mixed group. Thanks for any help! These pics loaded differently than I put them in so I think when I said second pic, it is now the first pic 😕 Edited February 24 by Kittipaws
