MWM
Compared to the Herring Gull, it seems larger so guessing it's a Glaucous?

Snake Fingers
Sweet bird! Is Seneca Falls NY a good place for gulls? I feel like I see it with a lot of your gull IDs. Edited February 28 by Snake Fingers

The finger lakes get some good gulls, likely due to their proximity to Lake Erie. Glaucous and Iceland gulls are annual winter visitors to northeastern states with large bodies of water or coasts. Also I would love to go to the Adirondack Mountains/Park/all that jazz. Also if GHOW is still a nemesis by then… Edited February 28 by Snake Fingers
MWM
Had a couple nesting pairs of GHOW last several years in the area, also a lot of winter gulls, I'm located about 35-40 miles south of Lake Ontario in the Finger Lakes region. Currently enjoying a couple Tufted Ducks in the area, but this year has been so mild, not as many wintering gulls. This Glaucous is first-off-the-year for me, & still need a Lesser Black-back, which are usually around.

This might be a cool topic idea: talk about what’s happening in your area, what birds are nesting near you, if you’re having larger amounts of certain birds or smaller amounts, and others. Thoughts?
