Marshal
Just updated iPhone Ibird pro to V13. Now when I click on Photo Sleuth nothing happens. I am a user that was converted to free subscription that ends 8/1/2023
JP48
On my iPad this morning, I had to select Sleuth from the 'hamburg' menu in the upper left-hand corner (there used to be a Sleuth tab at the top of the page), but it worked OK.
Marshal
On iPhone XR when I hit photo sleuth nothing happens. Was working just fine until I updated to version 13 yesterday. 🤬😱😫
JP48
Same version and build that I have. Maybe reload it?
Marshal
I deleted app and reinstalled. Same problem. My subscription is only good until August. I don’t intend to renew. I use free app Merlin and it has much better accuracy!
Marshal
After poking around awhile, it looks like Ibird pro app version 13 has somehow lost access to photos and I can’t find anyway to allow access again.
Marshal
Hmm. It looks like Photo Sleuth is actually a separate app which can be opened from pro. I am supposed to have free subscription until 8/1. When it updated pro to 13, it apparently dropped my subscription to sleuth. It won’t let me reinstall sleuth without paying $9.99. I’m not happy!! Marshal
Turns out as of V13 photo sleuth is a separate app. iBird Pro now has a link to the app. As I understand it, Photo Sleuth is not a subscription, but a one time purchase. Since I purchased it originally as part of iBird Pro, I was provided a coupon to get the Sleuth app for free. I am now back online.
