Least Sandpiper

Recommended Posts

The first picture is the bird in question.  It was taken at the end of December last year in Southern Texas.  It looks most closely to a Least Sandpiper, but I don't remember it being so small.  The second picture is a Least SP that I ID'ed without Whatbird and I defiantly remember it being puny (taken 11/22/2020).  What do you all think?  Also, any thoughts on developmental stage: nonbreeding adult, juvenile, etc
