chipperatl
Had a few today that were pretty shiny boys. This was only one that pics turned out even decent enough to try to post for ID.
Aidan B
I know very little about this ID, but something here just screams Rusty at me. I've seen countless Brewer's, and this bird would stick out in a flock of BRBL for some reason I can't seem figure out. RobinHood
Environment? I've only seen Rusty foraging at the edge of water or roosting near a water body. Otherwise a tough ID as in "very glossy overall" or :somewhat glossy overall" 🙂.

Farm fields around here typically get foraging mixed blackbird flocks in them, during the early spring. It might be too early for BRBL though. Some records on the bar charts for Michigan, but April is the better month. Edited March 19 by chipperatl
