And Happy New Year to you and all Whatbirders. Yesterday a Hermit Thrush hit our picture window. It sat for a long time and closed its eyes. We put the cat inside and after some time the bird perked up and started to run around. We put it up on a perch where it stayed for a while. Later it was gone.
