Marshal
Is this a Myrtle male in mating plumage or an intergrade cross between a Myrtle and Audubon? These were taken two days apart. They are standing on branch above my suet feeder. Might be two different birds. Wilmington NC Edited April 16 by Marshal

Jerry Friedman
I don't see any sign of Audubon's in either picture. The throat is all white and wraps around the auriculars, there's a white eyebrow, and the white on the wings is limited to narrow bars. 2
