It helps avoid confusion by keeping the discussion focused in one spot. With three separate posts, it's possible to get 3 different suggestions for the same bird, leading to three separate discussions/debates about the identifying markers used to validate the ID. Charlie Spencer Posted December 28, 2018 Share Posted December 28, 2018 @Lisaaaaa38, you can't delete a duplicate post yourself. However, you can flag it for deletion by the site admins. Open one of the duplicate discussions you want to have delete. Go to the upper right corner of the original post. Move your cursor to the left of the 'Share' button and 'Report post' should appear.
