Awesome little-known bird artist

Thanks, I found his book and really enjoyed it. I must say though that I found the actual article a bit in bad taste for my liking - there's no need to constantly bash someone else who did good work we all benefit from to this day despite their flaws in order to praise and recommend someone else who also did excellent work and perhaps wasn't appreciated at the time.

I wouldn't say that the article 'bashes' Audubon. While I agree that Audubon also did good work, it's important to recognize that he also had major flaws, including the fact that he owned slaves, and shot hundreds of birds for his illustrations. The article is raising awareness of this.
