MacMe
I pretty sure this is a Dunlin in breeding plumage. The strange thing is this is on Mustang Island State Park near Corpus Christi Texas. Picture taken last week. Is it unusual for them to be in this plumage at this time?
IKLland
Dunlins. They are molting into breeding plumage, which is not unusual at this time. Edited May 17 by IKLland
MacMe
They still have most of the continent to migrate over, just seems a little early Edited May 17 by MacMe
Charlie Spencer
It's not the plumage that strikes me as odd for this time of year, it's the birds still being in south Texas.
