Birds are cool
So, my family, (excluding my father, because he was busy) are going to my cousin's house by the coast. Some good friends are also going to be spending the weekend about twenty minutes away. They all go birding. They offered to take me to a rookery kayak around the first day! If the weather permits, we will stay the second day, and my family and cousins will go the Racoon Key!!! If we go to Racokn Key, I am hoping to get 1-3 lifers! Birds are cool
Nothing new yet. We still have the boat ride. Yesterday was a lot of fun! My friends and I kyayked to the rookery, and saw a ton of nesting herons and egreys. I also found two Least Bittern and a Common Tern, which were pretty uncommon in that area. While biking to a place, we saw brief glimpses of an EAPH, which turned out to be rare!
Birds are cool
I got one lifer, saw a huge number of Red Knots (200!), and got some good photos.
